Customer Payment Check Out Process

After a payment link has been shared, the customer needs to know how to use it. Leatherback's checkout interface is designed to be intuitive, allowing your customers to complete payments in just a few steps.


Checkout Walkthrough


  1. Receive the Link:

The customer receives your payment link through their preferred communication channel—such as Email, WhatsApp, or SMS.

  1. Access the Gateway:

The customer opens the link in any modern web browser.

  1. Select Payment Mode:

The system displays the available payment methods based on the transaction currency.

  • For NGN (Naira): Customers typically see options like Pay by Transfer, Card, or Pay with Account.
  • For GBP (Pounds): Customers will see relevant UK payment channels, Pay by Card or Pay by Account.
  • For CAD (Canadian Dollars): Customers will see the Pay by Interac option
  1. Authorize Payment:

The customer follows the prompts for their chosen method (e.g., entering card details or initiating a bank transfer to complete the transaction).
